Karin Before And After

All I can say to this is...holy shit.  
What was I thinking with that previous hairstyle?!! Why did only one side of her head have bangs? Wh-why did I do that?!!
Man, after drawing this, when I looked back at the older one I laughed my ass off!  She looks like she doesn't have a soul!
So does anyone remember this God awful drawing I posted last year?
For a possible short story called "Low Down" that I never did?
Yeah, that was Karin.  Technically, Low Down had a similar plot to Love Metal, except there was nothing interesting about the other characters and the story really went nowhere.
Then last December I redrew Karin (with proper bangs) and at the time I was listening to a lot of metal, so I thought "Why don't I make this about a metal band?!!" and then ideas just started flowing! I wrote everything down, and bam, it had an actual plot.

Good lord though, I can't believe how different this character looks after only a year. Even though their designs are basically the same.
Back then I was going through a style change, so maybe that's why.

Hope this meme made you giggle.  I was certainly entertained.
